Supply Chain Week 2023 is set to make its mark in Sydney, celebrating its 10th year from June 14th to 16th. The highly anticipated event will bring together industry leaders, providing a platform to share best practices, strategies, and insights on advancing supply chain capabilities, building resilience, and navigating future disruptions. Amidst the exciting lineup of participants, AutoStore™, renowned pioneers in global cube storage, will be making their debut appearance at the event, further solidifying their presence in Australia and New Zealand.

AutoStore’s local Business Development Manager, Jason Wu, will be taking part in a panel discussion on June 14th, centered around the crucial topic of ‘Sustainable Warehousing – Developing Strategies and Using Techniques to Reduce Your Carbon Footprint.’ As an expert in the field, Wu is eager to leverage this opportunity to showcase AutoStore’s extensive industry expertise, honed over their impressive 25-year history. With over 1,150 systems installed worldwide, AutoStore is uniquely positioned to address the challenges and opportunities faced by the industry.

Exploring energy efficient solutions

“I am pleased to be speaking on 14 June. Supply Chain Week is the ideal platform for AutoStore to demonstrate our industry expertise, refined over the last 25 years,” says Jason.

“We’ve installed over 1,150 systems globally, and have first-hand knowledge of the challenges and opportunities facing the industry. We look forward to this opportunity to explore the benefits of our solutions, proven to improve energy efficiency.”

He points to the company’s R5 Series Robots, which use less energy than a typical vacuum cleaner and run for approximately 20 hours before needing to recharge. “Thanks to the regenerative technology incorporated into the Robot design, AutoStore systems can run on solar power,” adds Wu.

“While there has been growing interest in AutoStore in the Asia Pacific (APAC) market, there is still a lot we can do to help businesses better understand the benefits of automated cube storage. Supply Chain Week presents us with a great opportunity to engage with local businesses in this regard,” adds Wu.
