Logistics platform LOGOS has sealed a major warehouse deal with global fashion retailer H&M and its sister retail brand Collection of Style (COS) at its $330 million Marsden Park Logistics Estate in Western Sydney.
Completed in April 2021, the 27,336 sqm purpose-built storage and distribution facility marks the seventh and final building for the estate.
The new deal means the estate is now fully leased just two years after breaking ground.
The distribution centre incorporates a wide range of sustainability features, such as a 250kW solar system, rainwater harvesting and LED lighting among other initiatives to obtain a 5 Star Green Star rating.
“It is a great milestone to have leased over 100,000 sqm of space at Marsden Park Logistics Estate in the two years since breaking ground and we’re very pleased to be now also welcoming H&M Group to the Estate,” said Darren Searle, Head of Australia and New Zealand at LOGOS.
The Swedish-based fashion group committed to a five-year initial lease for the facility that will service its Australian retail store network.
H&M and COS entered the Australian market in 2014, which now have 45 stores combined nationwide.
