Queensland-based Beenleigh Steel Fabrications has gotten a $40 million agreement to build the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program’s facility close to Maryborough.
The new facility will be essential for the QTMP train manufacturing facility at Torbanlea and is supposed to open new positions and apprenticeship opportunities in the state.
Beenleigh Steel Fabrications will supply and install 2,400 tons of structural steel for the buildings, which include the gatehouse, pump house, administrative building, and train manufacturing factory.
Beenleigh Steel Fabrications has a 44-year involvement in Queensland’s construction landscape with numerous projects including Suncorp Stadium, the Gabba, and Cross River Rail.
The company was chosen for the QTMP project for its exhibited ability and limit, cutting-edge fabrication workshop in Berrinba and obligation to local and indigenous work.
