APAC business transformation consultancy, TMX, has appointed Andrew Walsh as Executive Director of Project Services in Australia and New Zealand.

Walsh will be replacing Adam McDonald, who was recently promoted to TMX’s Managing Director of Australia and New Zealand.

Since 2017, Walsh has been with TMX as a Director of Project Services, where he led TM Commercial & Leisure, the commercial side of the construction project management division and major industrial property projects.

In his latest role, he will be leading TMX’s 50-person strong team of construction project managers delivering some of Asia-Pacific’s largest and highly automated industrial facilities.

He will be focusing on expanding the division and continually providing world-class project management expertise to TMX’s clients for their advanced and complex industrial sites.

In a statement, McDonald said he is thrilled to have Andrew appointed to the role of Executive Director of Project Services at TMX.

“Andrew brings over 15 years of experience and a track record of success in delivering major industrial builds to our clients.
This experience is vital to our clients as industrial property developments become more complex with the rapid advancements in supply chains to keep up with consumer demand,” McDonald said.

“I look forward to working closely with Andrew as we continue to support our clients on their major transformations and grow TMX’s leading presence in Australia and New Zealand,” he said.

Commenting on his new role, Andrew Walsh said that he is proud to be leading TMX’s Project Services team.

“Our team of construction project managers are the leading experts across the Asia-Pacific region on building complex industrial centres and the integration of automation into buildings. I look forward to further strengthening this expertise within our team and bringing this our clients,” Walsh said.

Prior to TMX, he started his career in civil engineering and developed rapidly working across Australia and the UK.

Walsh will be starting his new position immediately and be based out of TMX’s headquarters in Melbourne.
