The Role

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the smooth execution of grain to end users, by identifying the most suitable distribution and transportation options for execution. We seek a customer focused candidate with honed administration skills, attention to detail and a sense of urgency. This role requires basic skills in data management, reporting and analysis. You will build and foster ongoing relationships with external transport providers, developing and utilising your knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry.

By developing and implementing the execution strategies your focus will be to achieve the cheapest cost to deliver and perform meticulous contract administration and manage regular contract reconciliation, and movement order management.

Qualifications

Experience & Skills

• Coordination of bulk commodities ideally within the grains industry
• Ability to build customer relationships with a commercial focus to support positive business and customer results
• Experience or qualification in logistics, supply chain management or economics
• Excellent data entry and attention to detail skills
• Proficient in MS Office packages
• Knowledge of transportation and logistics market
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
