About the Role

Service Stream’s Telecommunications division are currently seeking a Materials Supply Manager to join our Technology & Continual Improvement team. Reporting directly to the Technology & Continual Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring effective execution of inventory holding policies, smooth running of replenishment models and availability of right stock at the right place on time for assigned contracts. Based in our Collins Street head office (VIC), and offered on a Max Term, Full Time basis, this position offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reduce obsolete and redundant stock and regularly analyse inventory to identify stockholdings at risk of obsolescence
  • Identify the need for and assist in implementing new systems which improve workflow and reduce cost
  • Assist with quarterly stocktake and cycle count processes
  • Liaise with clients and customers about forecasts provisioning and related requirements
  • Execute inventory replenishment processes and modelling across assigned contracts
  • Monitor stock transfer process between warehouses and make appropriate recommendations
  • Deliver accurate reporting and information on a timely basis about stock levels, forecast accuracy, inventory turns etc. (both routine and ad-hoc)
  • Support execution of cycle counts and stocktakes; investigate and approve stock adjustments

Skills and Experience

  • Two years plus experience in materials planning and supply chain or a Tertiary Logistics qualification (desirable
  • Planning coordination with the cross-functional stakeholders (internal and external)
  • >1 ERP systems working experience
  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics highly preferable
