This organisation is a not for profit that have been as been offering support to vulnerable Victorians for more than 90 years. Through their network of over 500 charity partners across the state, they are able to help Victorians in need.

Their workforce consists of 80 employees and thousands of volunteers who do an amazing job. The organisation has undergone rapid growth in the last 5 years and continues to expand with the development of new programs and approaches to deliver to more Victorians than ever.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this will be a stand-alone position responsible for creating and driving CI projects within Operations and Logistics. Initially, you will be heavily focused on ensuring the organisation is in a good position to go live with their new ERP implementation, you will ensure the data has been cleansed and can be mapped effectively through to the new system.

You will work very closely with the Inventory team throughout this process and implement a daily manual cyclic stock count to ensure inventory accuracy and perform variance analysis in order to aid the creation of a more streamlined and automated process.

Once this ERP has been implemented, this role will most likely develop into the organisation’s ERP SME and provide functional support to the wider team in creating efficiencies relating to processes, people and systems.

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, this role needs to be a hands-on process analyst who is comfortable collaborating with other teams within a busy and fast-paced Warehousing environment.
  • The ability to understand the team’s pain points from a physical standpoint then use the data to help to come up with a solution, rather than making data-based assumptions.
  • Experience in Supply Chain / Warehousing within organisations who utilise continuous improvement methodologies such as 5S and Six Sigma are of interest as this organisation is looking for someone who will bring a strategic, logical and proactive approach.
  • Experience working through ERP transitions and a strong operational knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Advanced excel skills are essential
