What will you do?

We are seeking an experienced IT Delivery Manager to join our Supply Team based in our Store Support Office in Williams Landing in West Melbourne.

The Primary purpose of this role is to partner with the Supply Chain and dependent business functions in the articulation and alignment of functional requirements into IT solutions that deliver customer outcomes, in line with Target’s strategy. You will need strong commercial acumen with regard to financial, project, vendor and resource management and broad knowledge of supply chain in general, with the ability to deep dive into the detail as required.

Other key responsibilities may include:

  • Build and manage a productive relationship between IT and the relevant business stakeholders and functions in order to identify, prioritise and deliver applications and products, improving business outcomes, aligned to both the business and technology strategies
  • Lead initiation of agreed and prioritised work through to completion of lean canvases or business case approval and delivery handover
  • Manage responsibility for all application, design, development, testing and warranty within the assigned business areas working towards a true dev/ops model
  • Appropriate selection and deployment of applications/products with a focus on delivering and unlocking value fast
  • Support of IT production applications
  • Financial management for the appropriate domain (of IT expenditure)
  • Alignment of business strategies into IT Solutions whilst ensuring compliance to
        • IT Strategy
        • Architectural Principles and Standards
        • IT Security Policies and Standards

What are we looking for?

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or business discipline OR extensive experience in the specific business domain
  • Thorough understanding and experience of iterative software delivery;
  • Expertise in Scrum
  • Prior experience as a Product Owner will be highly regarded;
  • Extensive experience working in AGILE environments;
  • Strong people leadership experience
