The Opportunity

This role will be responsible for developing end to end integrated supply chain solutions for Primary Connect’s customers, with a strong focus on the international logistics component. In addition to developing physical logistics solutions and network optimisation, the role will have a heavy focus on international movement solutions that encompass lead time optimisation, inventory holding impacts & fulfilment risks, data flows and customer network design.

Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Gain a deep understanding of Primary Connect’s customers’ requirements prior to building solutions
  • Work closely with SME’s (International Logistics, Warehousing, Domestic Transport) to construct integrated solutions for Primary Connects customers.
  • Work with customers and internal teams to enhance end to end solutions that enable greater efficiency in lead times, inventory holding, fulfilment risk and data flows. This may include network flows, inventory holding points, shipping schedules etc.
  • Where appropriate work closely with Value Discovery, Account Management & Business Development teams in identifying and delivering end to end or integrated solutions with heavy focus on the international logistics.
  • Ensure solutions are operationally executable and well documented for hand over to implementation and operations teams.

Who We’re Looking For

  • We’re looking for a energetic, customer focused team player who will be driven and passionate, keen to get things done and able to make an impact in a fast-paced environment, while also possessing:
  • Experience in International operational supply chain management functions
  • Strong technical supply chain knowledge, having held an end to end supply chain planning or operational role for a minimum of 7 years,
  • Strong analytical capabilities – including the ability to create insight from data.
  • Process mapping capabilities
  • 3PL or FMCG logistics experience
  • International supply chain experience
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • High level of attention to detail and quality
