The opportunity

We are seeking a talented Supply Chain Specialist to support the next generation of Air Battle Space Management System. This role is based in Brisbane.

Responsibilities:

The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for overall management of program assets and asset management systems. This includes:

  • Creation and management of the master catalogue of Wakulda inventory managed items across multiple environments
  • Monthly and quarterly forecasting of asset maintenance requirements or events (i.e. scheduled equipment servicing, equipment calibration, software license renewals, warranty expiry)
  • Creation and management of Boeing Asset Management System (BAMS) instances for new items
  • Managing non inventory managed items in the Boeing Inventory Management System (IMS)
  • Assisting with the determination of required spares holdings in support of operations
  • Identification of opportunities to improve process efficiencies and reduce waste

Experience/Qualifications

  • Experience establishing Asset Management Systems (experience in the Boeing Asset Management System is desirable)
  • Inventory management experience in an MRO environment
  • Familiarity with Logistics Support Analysis (desirable)
  • Familiarity with OPUS10 Spares Optimization modeling (desirable)
  • Understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies, with value stream mapping experience highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying, establishing and promoting supply process improvements
  • Sound ERP systems knowledge with Oracle E-Business Suite preferred
