The Flagstaff Group is a large Illawarra based employer with extensive business operations including materials recycling, food packaging & distribution, digital and off-set printing and a commercial laundry; and we are seeking to immediately appoint a Supply Chain Operations trainee to join our Print & Mail team!

Are you committed to working in a team environment, demonstrate initiative and flexibility with good communication, time management and customer service skills then this is the position for you!

Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will be guided by the team to become an effective operator of the despatch and allied distribution functions. Responsible for coordinating distribution delivery runs.

About You:

• Able to meet all Trainee obligations under the Trainee agreement, including the ability to complete to a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations as part of the traineeship;
• The ability to operate independently, effectively and professionally with limited supervision;
• Sound level literacy and computer skills, specifically in relation to the Microsoft Office suite of programs;
• Problem solving skills.
• An upbeat, ‘can do’ attitude that drives you to challenge yourself and those around you;
• Current NSW Drivers Licence;
• Eligible to immediately work in Australia without sponsorship.

Desirable:

• Experience interacting with a Person with a Disability (socially or professionally);
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
