Our core business is ultra-high mobility, wheeled vehicles and we are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of a range of vehicles from 450kg to 12T GVM which are currently in service with the Australian and NZ Army. We also apply our skills to other areas, such as working with Defence primes on large programs and consulting into the automotive industry.

 

About the Role

 

The Supply Chain Coordinator is a hands-on planning and supply chain role. Utilising your experience of end to end supply chain processes, you will be responsible for scheduling and managing production orders, material planning and shipping, whilst also balancing customer and work orders. In this role, you will liaise with all relevant stakeholders of the business to deliver an efficient supply chain. You will play a key role in our supply chain team.

 

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

 

  • Inventory control and analysis
  • Purchasing and procurement from third party suppliers
  • Coordinating local and interstate transport and logistics
  • Ensuring effective communication regarding product ranges/services
  • Coordinating resolutions of Warranty Analysis and resolving these claims with suppliers
  • Day to day management and follow up of supplier and satellite warehouses
  • Assist with sourcing of new suppliers and negotiating pricing and delivery terms with existing suppliers
  • Manage local and international suppliers and monitor KPIs

 

Skills and Experience:

 

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with an ability to form and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Have a strong understanding of Production Functions and
  • Engineering Drawings interpretations including Bill of Materials (BOM) and managing the process
  • Knowledge of end to end supply chain processes, preferably in a manufacturing industry
  • Experience in roles demonstrating substantial accountability and responsibility
  • Qualifications in Logistics / Management or Supply Chain will be highly regarded
  • Automotive or Defence industry experience would be ideal
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence
  • Security Clearance and must have the right to work in Australia.
