The engine room of the business, our central operations team keeps us moving and delivering our services to all Australians. We empower and support our retail teams across the country, helping them deliver great experiences for our customers every single day.

Within central operations, our data and insights team provide key analysis to help optimise our systems and processes. We currently have an opportunity for an Analytics and Insight Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.


About the role


As the Supply Chain Analytics and Insights Manager, you’ll work with business areas to coordinate requirements and ensure data is fit for purpose while simplifying complex concepts to provide user friendly information and analysis.

 

providing analytical data capability and enabling the business to confidently make data driven decisions through trusted and timely delivery of information

 

  • collaborating with internal customers to understand information needs and functional requirements to build world class actionable insights with independent recommendations
    implementing operational self-serve
  • analytical capability where common needs are identified
  • insight generation – interpreting outputs and presenting insights and recommended actions in an engaging and audience appropriate way
  • influencing senior stakeholders to make optimal business decisions by presenting accurate and valid insights

 

About you and your skills


we are looking for an experienced supply chain analyst who has experience with complex data sets and presenting information in an engaging way. You will also need;

 

  • supply chain experience in retail, FMCG, with a strong focus on customer fulfilment and an understanding of retail supply chain systems / processes
  • an extensive background in data mining and statistical analysis
  • experience engaging stakeholders and providing recommendations to influence data driven decisions
  • an advanced level of skills using Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint
    exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject matter experts in all parts of the organisation influencing senior stakeholders to make optimal business decisions by presenting accurate and valid insights
