An exciting opportunity has become available for a National Supply Chain Specialist at ALDI. This role sits within ALDI’s National Supply Chain department, based in Minchinbury. This is a fixed-term contract position until 30 June 2024.

 

As a National Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in growing ALDI’s Supply Chain function. You will be a key contributor within both strategy and operations, through your ability to analyse data and present insights while ensuring alignment and consistency across all internal teams and external business partners.

 


Role Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in the development and implementation of ALDI’s supply chain strategy and operations
  • Analyse data and processes to determine risks and areas of opportunity
  • Present ALDI’s supply chain strategy and operational model to business partners globally
  • Lead end-to-end project management on a daily basis
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective programme output
  • Analyse cost discrepancies and develop solutions accordingly
  • Analyse fluctuations in KPIs and develop actions to grow ALDI’s supply chain

Selection Criteria:

 

  • 2+ years’ experience within a Supply Chain, Buying or Commercial role
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyse information, develop proposals and deliver solutions
  • Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities across internal and external audiences
  • Demonstrated ability in applying a solution focused mindset
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • SAP TM, F&R and/or S4H experience desirable
  • Intermediate – Advanced Excel proficiency
  • High degree of professionalism
