Bolloré Logistics expands to Aust with Lynair Logistics acquisition

Global transport and logistics business Bolloré Logistics has expanded its footprint in Australia with its acquisition of South Australian company Lynair Logistics.

The latest acquisition, effective since 1st August 2022, will see Bolloré Logistics Australia as the full owner of Adelaide-based Lynair Logistics.

Lynair will retain its brand name temporarily and continue its business operations as usual following the acquisition.

“The acquisition of Lynair Logistics further strengthens our presence in Australia, and we are pleased to welcome our new, experienced and highly capable team members into the Bolloré Logistics Australia family,” said Thibault Janssens, CEO of Bolloré Logistics, Pacific Region.

“Lynair will carry on its business as usual and will have the strong support of Bolloré Logistics Australia as well as its global network,” added David Guarnera, State Manager of Victoria and South Australia, Bolloré Logistics Australia.

Established in South Australia since 2002, Lynair Logistics is a logistics company specialising in air freight, ocean freight, customs clearance, and logistics throughout the world.

“We have achieved very well to be where we are today as a reputable international freight and logistics company,” said Augustin Paul, Managing Director of Lynair Logistics.

“This, of course, comes with a great team of staff working together, along with the support and trust of our customers that we have established over the years. Being powered by Bolloré Logistics will offer more features and resources for our team to ensure that customers continue receiving high levels of service,” said Augustin Paul, Managing Director of Lynair Logistics.

Bolloré Logistics Australia is a subsidiary of Bolloré Logistics, a global business in international transport and logistics, encompassing 3PL/4PL warehousing, international freight forwarding, transport and supply chain support and industrial projects with turnkey delivery.

First established in 1975 as a representative office, the company employs over 300 staff across its offices and warehousing facilities in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide.
