DHL Global Forwarding completes acquisition of Danzas AEI Emirates

DHL Global Forwarding, the freight specialist arm of DHL Group, has finished the procurement of offers in the Danzas AEI Emirates, with all offices now rebranded to DHL. The full joining not only gets a changed logo and name but additionally upgrades functional capacities with the exchange of 1,100 strategies specialists and ownership for 20 facilities.

Customers in the UAE, GCC, and MEA regions will benefit from logistics services that are more effective and streamlined as a result. With this integration, DHL Global Forwarding sets its situation as a market leader in cargo sending and operations in Dubai, further speeding up the development of the strategies business in the MEA locale. DHL Group made 4,161 million euros in the region in 2022.

Since its establishment in 1995 as a joint venture between Al Tayer Group and DHL Global Forwarding, Danzas AEI Emirates has played a vital role in developing the region as a global logistics hub. Following the integration, DHL Global Forwarding will own and operate over 20 Danzas’ state-of-the-art facilities across Dubai and the Northern Emirates, with key sites in Jebel Ali Freezone, Dubai World Central, and Dubai Airport Free Zone, including the latest station based in Ras Al Khaimah.

“DHL Global Forwarding has revolutionised the world of logistics through customer centricity and excellence, and our integration with Danzas will enable us to expand our reach and support the growth of the logistics business in the GCC while enhancing regional competitiveness as an economic hub,” Diallo said.
