Harvest Road appoints Paul Slaughter as new CEO

Agribusiness group Harvest Road names Paul Slaughter as the company’s incoming Chief Executive Officer, last Friday, 6 November 2020.
The appointment is part of company’s plans for continued expansion across its core brands.
Paul Slaughter is a food services, wholesale and retail industry leader who currently serves as CEO for Mrs Mac’s for Australia and New Zealand.
Tattarang CEO Andrew Hagger and Chief Investment Officer John Hartman saidSlaughter’s 25 years’ experience delivering growth and brand development across local and emerging markets will help Harvest Road introduce new customers to its sustainable, high-quality and ethically grown agri-food products.
“We are excited to welcome Paul to our Harvest Road and Tattarang families. He brings considerable knowledge across food and retail supply chains and shares our vision to continue to grow Harvest Road as a global market-leader and sustainable producer which honours Western Australian fine foods,” Hagger said.

On his appointment, Slaughter said it is a privilege to join Harvest Road.

He added that they have an opportunity now to expand Harvest Road’s place at the heart of Western Australia’s growing international food reputation.
Slaughter is an FMCG veteran who has led investment in product quality, innovation and brand expansion with a focus on sustainability and support for West Australian suppliers and producers.
