There is no denying that carriers today face a lot more challenges than they did in the past. Besides the surge in demand for doorstep deliveries due to safe-distancing reasons, they also have to deal with an ever-growing list of consumer expectations regarding last-mile. In one of their latest studies, our media partner, Parcel Monitor, took a closer look at customer ratings around the world to identify the correlation between transit times and customer satisfaction rates.

The key findings of the study are as follows:

  • Longer transit times result in lower ratings.
  • Customers are willing to wait nearly 2.5 times longer to receive their international parcels.
  • Most reviews tend to comment on the speed of deliveries, quality of customer service, and accuracy of parcel information.
