Sleepwear brand Peter Alexander has expanded its store size at the Harbour Town Premium Outlets in Adelaide due to overwhelming demand.

The brand has been at Harbour Town Adelaide for the past six years but has recently moved into a larger 412 square metre site at the Centre’s Premium Mall, creating 20 new retail positions including Christmas casual jobs.

The centre manager of Harbour Town Premium Outlets Adelaide, Kylie Neal, said Peter Alexander is one of Harbour Town’s most popular brands and that the new store showcases its latest outlet concept mirroring its Gold Coast outlet store.

“It has come as no surprise that sales for Peter Alexander doubled on the opening weekend compared to their previous store location at the centre, during the same period last year,” Neal said.

“The matching pyjama trend is a particular favourite among shoppers looking to dress the whole family, including the dog. It’s exciting the new store offers Peter Alexander’s dog range including pooch pyjamas, hoodies, blankets, toys and accessories. As a pet-friendly outdoor shopping centre, it’s the perfect fit.”

Harbour Town Adelaide manages over 120 stores, including the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, R.M.Williams, Kate Spade, Oroton, Guess, Boss and Lorna Jane.

Harbour Town attracts a significantly higher proportion of interstate and international visitors than other South Australian shopping centres.
