As a result of a significant investment made by the Queensland Government, Gold Gourmet Foods, a food manufacturer with its headquarters on the Gold Coast, is all set to expand both its workforce and operations.

The infusion of $210,000 through the Manufacturing Hubs Grant Program will catalyse the organisation’s development, empowering it to automate its sauce and mayonnaise production lines.

This essential move improves functional productivity as well as opens potential opportunities for work creation and market development.

The family-owned business is known for making gourmet mayonnaise, dressing, and sauces that are sold to stores like IGA, Spar, and Foodworks.

Determined to support production limits and guarantee product quality, the award will work with the reception of computerisation innovation, making the manufacturing system more secure and more proficient.

Glenn Butcher, Minister for Manufacturing, emphasised the significance of the additional support provided by the government and expressed his satisfaction with Gold Gourmet Foods’ progress.

“The Manufacturing Hubs network has been a stunning success for the manufacturing industry. It’s great to see first-hand the value of the relationship between Hub staff and local manufacturers,” said Butcher.

He noted that the family-owned business would be able to scale up production of sauces and mayonnaise products to meet rising demand locally and internationally thanks to the funding, which totals over $210,000. This would enable the company to expand its operations and workforce.

Gold Gourmet Food co-founder Mitchell Friends offered thanks for the financing, recognising its significance in driving the organisation to a higher level.

Peers featured the possible advantages of the venture, including the formation of additional jobs, diminished production costs, and expanded output, which would upgrade the company’s competitiveness on a global scale.
