Tasmanian trade mission opens doors to USA manufacturing

The Department of State Growth is leading a huge trade and investment mission toward the western seaboard of the USA in April 2024, lining up with the Tasmanian Trade Strategy 2019–2025, which recognises the district as a fundamentally important market for expansive engagement.
Tasmanian organisations are welcome to take part in this extraordinary chance to investigate the tremendous potential of the US market with an emphasis on advanced manufacturing, advanced technologies, and different areas including tech, communications, digital, film, and IT.
Scheduled to run from 1 April to 5 April 2024, this trade mission expects to work with significant commitment between Tasmanian organisations and their American counterparts.
Priority consideration will be given to businesses with the potential for significant business results or those equipped to reinforce the Tasmanian brand inside the US market.
As indicated by the government, it is vital to note that the accommodation of an Expression of Interest doesn’t ensure participation and the need will be agreed to by those with the best potential for significant commitments to the Tasmanian economy.
Delegates who have been chosen will be crucial in arranging, confirming, and paying for their international flights, accommodations, and ground expenses.
Compliance with the USA entry requirements relevant at the hour of travel is required for all chosen members.
Businesses that meet the requirements can apply for the Accelerating Trade Program, which assists in the form of a co-contribution of up to $10,000 to facilitate in-market trade activities as part of the mission.
