The Reject Shop revealed its brand new Forbes store in NSW. Forbes Mayor Phyllis Miller O.A.M., was in attendance to cut the ribbon on Grand Opening day alongside The Reject Shop Regional Manager Tonee Purtell, and Forbes Store Manager Ashlee Moore.

The new discount retail shop is set to provide up to a dozen jobs to local members of the community and will offer huge savings to everyday Forbes shoppers with an extensive product range across big-name brands such as Cadbury, Tresemmé, Pepsi, Omo, Finish, Scrub Daddy and Schmackos.

The Reject Shop’s Regional Manager Tonee Purtell says the store will bring some exciting opportunities for the local community.

“We’re really looking forward to our new store helping the local community lower their weekly shopping bill by visiting us first before collecting their groceries elsewhere. The Reject Shop has a mammoth cleaning and household essentials range, and an extensive pet section boasting unbeatable prices,” Purtell said.

“We are beyond proud to be providing more local jobs across full-time, part-time and casual roles, to expert team members who will be servicing the community with the best tips and tricks on how to lower their household budgets during economic pressures just by shopping at The Reject Shop first,” Purtell added.

Since 1981, The Reject Shop has been dedicated to “helping Australians save money, every day,” according to the retailer. Stocking products across a range of categories, The Reject Shop offers some of Australia’s “most trusted brands for less.”

“Whether you’re stocking up on household essentials, prepping for a party, or indulging in something for yourself, you can find it all conveniently in one of over 380 stores around the country,” Purtell said.
