Australia Post launches new community hub

Australia Post has sent off a scope of new administrations in the desire to find answers for normal issues Aussies face consistently.

Australia Post Group CEO and Managing Director Paul Graham said the new local area centre point changed the mailing station into a modern, retail experience useful for distant Aussies. 

“Today is a landmark day for Australia Post as we reimagine the post office for the future. Every day our network of over 4000 post offices plays an important role in connecting Australians, particularly in regional and remote Australia,” Graham said. 

There will likewise be a devoted region to permit entrepreneurs to sort, wrap and send orders. 

The centre point will likewise have a region for online retailers and independent companies to exhibit and sell items, with a pivot permitting new business to be displayed each season. 

Australia Post has plans to open greater local area centre point areas at Williamstown in Victoria, Burnie in Tasmania and Noosa Heads in Queensland. 

Communications Minister Michelle Rowland said the centre was a success for neighbourhood shoppers and private companies in Orange. 

“It’s fantastic to see the new community hub in Orange up and running. This is a great example of Australia Post modernising their business to meet community needs and will help connect small businesses with new customers and make sending and receiving parcels even easier for locals,” Rowland said.
