Incitec Pivot Limited declared that Brian Kruger has left his position as IPL Chairman and non-executive chief, effective immediately, due to personal reasons.

“I would like to thank my Board colleagues for their support and in understanding of my decision to step down. Thank you also to IPL’s Interim CEO Paul Victor, the executive leadership team and the IPL people, for the work you do for our customers and shareholders,” Kruger said.

Kruger, who has been a director of IPL since June 2017 and filled in as chairman since July 2019, assumed an essential part in guiding the organisation through the difficulties presented by the Coronavirus pandemic and developing international elements.

Prominent accomplishments during his residency incorporate the essential division of IPL’s two industry-leading organisations, the sale of the Waggaman ammonia manufacturing office in the US, prosperous partnerships, and advancements in recarbonation.

The Board has appointed Greg Robinson, an ongoing non-executive director, to succeed Kruger, the organisation said in an ASX declaration.

“Brian’s leadership and service to the Board and Company has been outstanding in guiding the businesses through some challenging times. The Company’s achievements during Brian’s tenure as Chairman are testament to a sustained commitment to the future of IPL,” Robinson said.

Greg Robinson, a non-executive director since November 2019, will succeed Kruger. Robinson has broad experience in the assets and finance industries, with a foundation that incorporates senior leader jobs at Newcrest Mining, BHP, Grid Energy, and Lattic Energy traversing more than 30 years.

“Together with the rest of the Board, I would like to thank George for his significant contribution to the Board and as a member of the Health, Safety, Environment and Community Committee since his appointment in December 2020. We wish George well in his future endeavours,” Robinson added.
