We are seeking an highly engaging Air Freight Coordinator for our friendly team based in Eagle Farm, Qld.
Responsibilities:
- Process Air Freight shipments effectively and efficiently
- Work with Australian Customs regarding Automated Customs Advice and problem solving
- Handle all aspects of airfreight import
- Invoicing and posting of costs on individual file level and ensure that there are no losses on files report
- immediately on any inaccuracies
- Ensure correct process flow and ensure all documentation is handled as required
- Ensure all consolidations are entered and relevant cargo status’s obtained for all shipments
- Participate in the department’s weekend roster
Qualifications:
- Local knowledge of Air product, processes and requirements
- Experience in Air Freight Forwarding
- Ability to react and perform well under pressure
- Ability to multi-task
- Effective communication skills and professional communication etiquette
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Attention to detail and accuracy
