Buyer – Supply Chain

Enjoying significant growth and success in recent years an opportunity now exists for an experienced operative to join the team as a Supply Chain Buyer located in the Eastern Suburbs on an Initial Fixed term contract for 12 months.

The Role

• Implement and continuously develop buying, scheduling and supply chain processes – end to end supply chain functions
• Responsibility to deliver projections to ensure OTD, DOH and be an integral part of the SIOP process
• Demonstrate the ability to engage with multiple suppliers, partner, and contractors to ensure smooth flow of product.
• Manage inventory balance at distribution centres and locations
• Continuously develop and communicate best processes across regions

About you

• Proven experience in a supply chain logistics or planning position
• Demonstrate business process improvements and an understanding of forecasting and supplying concepts.
• Terrific system knowledge around ERP/MRP, desirable SAP but not essential
• Strong capability to communicate ideas, results, and developments to all levels of the organisation
• Display excellent critical problem-solving skills
• Change management experience
