[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Our client, a leader in Retail Technology solutions is seeking an experienced Inventory and Demand Planning Officer to join their team in Chirnside Park for an ongoing casual role with full time hours on offer.

This position is responsible for managing the delivery, administration and purchasing operations for the business in Australia and New Zealand.

Duties will include:

  • Develop and manage an accountable system for bidding, contracting, ordering, and purchasing of items.
  • Establish, develop, manage and review sources of supply, with the objective of securing the optimum benefit to the company, thus gaining a competitive edge.
  • Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns
  • Raise stock/non-stock orders
  • Issue purchase orders for assigned items, both direct and indirect
  • Provide logistics support functions
  • Maintain the demand planning process, to ensure availability of finished goods for a subset of key products
  • Lead communication with suppliers regarding quality issues
  • Undertake other functions that may be reasonably requested as per business needs.

To be successful, you will display at least 5 years experience in a similar role with relevant Tertiary qualifications advantageous. Exposure to EDI/Freight Forwarder & 3PL management will also be an advantage. Experience in working with international vendors and supply chains is preferred. You will be highly proficient using Microsoft Office suite and demonstrate your excellent time management and organisational skills. You will also display your high level interpersonal skills being able to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
