Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Coordinator is a critical support role with a variety of responsibilities that focus on the production needs of the shift.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Commence the shift with the observation walk through, ensuring all safety, quality and sanitation standards are met and resolve any issues that arise
  • Facilitate both the shift & daily management food review and supporting any corrective actions for product defects
  • Work closely with the quality team to ensure re-work measures are producing the right outcome
  • Support & verify housekeeping and cleaning activities during the shift
  • Review the daily data being recorded in production log books used in manufacturing for compliance
  • Assist with management of food safety incidence and adverse events
  • Support the Operations Manager with the facilitation of compliance training programs

Skills, Experience & Attributes Sought

  • Degree or diploma qualification in either Food Technology, Supply Chain, Quality or Business
  • Previous working experience in a factory environment – preference for food manufacturing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Pro-active, problem solving and results oriented
  • Team player with a strong ability to work as part of a multi-functional team to achieve goals/outcomes

This role involves shift work 7:00pm – 7:00am on a rolling shift basis (7 day fortnight, 4 nights on/off which will involve working weekends and public holidays.
