Purpose of the role

We are seeking an experienced Supply & Distribution Planner to join our Supply Chain team. This full-time position will report to the Senior Procurement Manager and is based in our Global Head Office in Collingwood.
In this role, you will be responsible managing the performance of Aesop’s direct packaging suppliers and sourcing new suppliers to ensure we are meeting our strong company sustainability, quality and ethical responsibilities. You will be involved in some exciting new projects, working with international vendors to implement new packaging into our product range.

This role will also manage the RFI and RFQ process for prospective suppliers of packaging, as well as have responsibility for auditing and managing the performance of all packaging suppliers . This role is critical in ensur ing our global suppliers comply with ethical sourcing and our B corp oration responsibilities.

What we are looking for

The successful candidate should have a passion for operational excellence , in addition to :

• Experience within supply chain related disciplines, logistics, supply chain management, demand management or operational management
• Strong global business acumen
• Operational decision making, using data to drive decision making
• Capability to maintain and drive relationships and partnerships with suppliers
• Excellent written and verbal communication and a proven ability to communicate with key stakeholders across the business in an effective and timely manner
