As the Supply Planning Manager, your key responsibility is to ensure an optimum supply of finished goods from all sources – both our own Manufacturing plant and co-packers, to deliver to agreed customer service level targets whilst optimising inventory across the network through appropriate deployment strategies.

We’re about to embark on an exciting period of change as we introduce the next generation of Business Planning tools to our Supply & Demand Planning function. This position will form part of our project team and play a key role in the change management and successful integration for ANZ.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Partners with various Supply and Demand leaders within the business to develop appropriate production plans that meet our forecasts while minimising exposure due to possible variances
  • Responsible for product availability across the network. Responsible for meeting overall inventory targets.
  • Participates in the S&OP process, leading the Supply Review Meeting, ensuring visibility and clarity of supply, inventory and exposures.
  • Works closely with the scheduling team at Botany to align on a master schedule, driving the minimisation of raw and packing material obsolence. Similarly, minimizes any materials exposures at co-manufacturers and overseas sources.
  • Responsible for capacity planning in the near-term (12 weeks), medium-term (one year) and long-term (three years), providing appropriate input into the IBP/S&OP cycle and annual budgeting/ Plans Meeting
  • Ensures development of direct and indirect reports, and effective succession planning

The successful candidate will have had a successful career in Supply Chain management with a strong understanding of the supplier environment. Previous experience within an organisation that manufactures locally is highly advantageous. An effective communicator, you will have the ability to communicate and influence at all levels across the business. Naturally with this type of role a high level of attention to detail is an absolute must. We’re looking for a people leader who can manage, develop and engage our team of Supply aPlanners. Someone who is restless in their approach to continuous improvement to unlock more efficient ways of working and get people on this journey as well.
