Pure Hydrogen to provide hydrogen fuel cell waste truck 

Pure Hydrogen has concurred with the Australian waste administration company Solo Resource Recovery to send a hydrogen-powered energy unit to fuel a garbage collection truck. 

Solo will pay a rental expense of $82,500 for the half-year trial, with additional hydrogen-powered waste assortment trucks to be provided following a successful trial result. 

Solo Resource Recovery National Fleet Manager, Mark Taylor, said, “Our partnership with Pure Hydrogen is the natural next step to ensuring a resilient and sustainable waste sector.” 

Depending upon the trial results, the vehicles might be logically deployed across New South Wales, Victorian, South Australian and Western Australian activities. Pure Hydrogen also has the right of refusal for hydrogen supply to Solo. 

The vehicle will support Solo’s municipal agreements, remembering Tweed Shire Board for northern New South Wales, Australia, with Pure Hydrogen conveying maintenance administrations and supply of hydrogen during the half-year time for testing starting in 2024.
