TMX Global has appointed respected logistics and supply chain expert Craig Albiston to lead its supply chain consulting practice across Australia and New Zealand.
Albiston joins the company’s 11 strong executive management team as Executive Director – Supply Chain, Australia and New Zealand, a newly created role in the firm.
“Craig offers deep subject matter expertise in business and corporate strategy, supply chain management, IT strategy, fleet and asset management, mergers and acquisitions, innovation and new venture creation,” said Adam McDonald, Managing Director ANZ at TMX Global.
Prior to his latest appointment, Albiston worked at Deloitte where he was Principal and senior leader in their Supply Chain and Procurement practice, including National Logistics and Distribution Lead.
He brings with him over 20 years in both management consulting and industry, focused on supply chain management, fleet management and innovation.
He also has experience in retail, consumer, industrial products and construction, transport and logistics, energy and resources, and government and public sector.
“After three years of COVID-induced supply-chain disruptions, Craig will help advise clients on what supply chain challenges are likely ahead, and how to overcome them,” McDonald said.
TMX Global is an adviser to companies such as Wesfarmers, Coles, Coca-Cola Japan, Asahi and Singapore Post.
According to Albiston, he was impressed by TMX Global’s unmatched depth and breadth of supply chain expertise, its broad range of industry-leading clients, and the trust relationships that have been developed with them.
“TMX Global is a fast-growing advisory business with passion and focus on the supply chain,” he said.
“I’m looking forward to being able to support clients throughout the process, from supply chain-enabled strategy through to implementation and transformation, and to leading and growing a dedicated team of 60 consultants and supply chain practitioners across Australia and New Zealand.”
TMX Global said its supply-chain division has grown six-fold from 38 advisers three years ago to more than 180 today.
