What inspires you to be part of the supply chain sector?

Where there is complexity, there is opportunity; Leveraging technology to simplify decision-making process and extract value is something that I find very exciting.

What is the key theme you want people to talk away from your talk?

Supply chain always offers a lot of potential distraction, so, always make sure you know what the key business objectives are and that you have the tools in place to ensure that you make the right decision at all times

At the end of the day, it’s important to know how to drive bottom line benefits in complex supply chains with IBP

What’s the best lesson you’ve learned in your career so far?

The importance of having cross-business KPI’s created at the top of the organisation and cascaded down to make sure that the entire business is moving in the same direction

What advice can you give to those who are looking at a career in Supply Chain?

Supply Chain functions benefit a great deal from having people who have a solid end to end understanding of what makes the business tick; Always consider spending some time in non-supply chain opportunities should they come your way, they might just be the perfect stepping stone towards a future career in supply chain.
