Australian distributor and member of the Metcash Group, Campbells Wholesale, is celebrating 90 years in business.

Throughout ninety years serving the independent, family-owned business area, Campbells has developed into a $1 billion business with 700 workers spreading over each state in Australia, an organisation of 16 stores and the biggest item range in the national wholesale market.

“We are honoured to be celebrating our 90th anniversary, and this momentous occasion is testament to our unwavering commitment to serving independent businesses across Australia. We owe our longevity and success to the support of our valued customers, the dedication of our staff and being part of the Metcash Group,” Campbells Wholesale General Manager, Iain Kirsch.

To commemorate its 90th anniversary, Campbells is offering customers an opportunity to win. Any customer who spends through $90 on Campbells Wholesale items, whether in-store or online, between the 1st of October and 31st of October will be placed into a draw to win a portion of $90,000. Campbells is additionally offering 90 Campbells vouchers worth $1,000 each.

Campbells has been devoted to assisting independent organisations to flourish by offering the best benefit wholesale arrangements through its special self-administration warehousing centres and online transportation network across Australia.

In 1933 Campbells was established by A G Campbell in Sydney, spearheading the idea of self-administration wholesale shopping.

In 1999 Campbells joined Metcash Group. The organisation’s connection with the most stretched-out retail conveyance network in Australia has empowered the Campbells to serve a different scope of clients, including remote communities, and both huge and little independent retailers.

“We are excited by the next decade in Campbells’ history as we continue to deliver best value wholesale solutions to our nation’s independent businesses,” Kirsch added.
