Industry leader Luke Rochester has joined Asia Pacific business transformation consultancy TMX Global as its new Associate Director, IBP.

Bringing more than 25 years of experience of supply chain expertise, Rochester has held several senior roles at global organisations such as Unilever, Mars Inc and Blackmores.

He brings a wealth of experience and specialism across the disciplines of Sales & Operations Planning, Inventory Management and Supply Chain Analytics to TMX.

In his new role, Rochester will be responsible for leading TMX’s Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Service.

“I’m very excited to join TMX at such an exciting time of growth for the leading Asia-Pacific business consultancy,” said Luke Rochester, Associate Director, IBP at TMX Global.

“With global supply chains now being more complex and turbulent than ever, the benefits of IBP are clear,” Rochester said.

“I look forward to working with TMX’s client-base to help drive efficiencies, enhance collaboration and improve profitability across the Asia-Pacific region,” he said.

TMX’s newly launched service stream is designed to help clients improve customer service, profitability and cashflow through analysing inventory performance and developing improved planning and inventory management processes.

Through a five-stage implementation process, the new service provides a strategic roadmap that assesses people, processes and systems to identify gaps and challenges to overcome and ultimately ends in redesigning the business for future success.

At its core, IBP provides a bottom-up prediction of future profit linking day-to-day operations to operating plans, financial plans, strategic plans and business plans and helps organisations identify future threats and opportunities.

“We know that many organisations struggle to establish a single source of truth about their future performance and are often in the dark about impending threats or opportunities,” said Tom Fitz-Walter, Executive Director, Supply Chain at TMX Global.

“Through our new IBP service, we can help our clients improve collaboration and informed decision making to drive improvements in service, profitability and cashflow,” Fitz-Walter said.

“Luke Rochester is a recognised industry leader in this field and has revolutionised supply chain processes for some of the world’s largest organisations. His understanding and experience of complex business environments makes him extremely well-placed to lead the new IBP service at TMX,” he said.
