DHL Supply Chain has named Brindha Pillay as Chief Financial Officer for Australia and New Zealand.
Pillay will take over for Craig Roberts, who is moving to a new position with DHL in charge of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
According to the contract logistics solutions company, Craig will relocate to oversee Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) for DHL. Craig has been an invaluable member of the DHL Group for nearly three decades.
Pillay has held positions ranging from finance manager for Australia to senior vice president, global head of accounting, and process digitalisation finance, all since joining DHL around 15 years ago.
“I am excited to take on the role of CFO for DHL Supply Chain in ANZ and continue to champion excellence in the office of finance across the business,” said Pillay.
Pillay was also welcomed into the position by Kwok-wai Lee, CFO of DHL Supply Chain Asia Pacific.
“I have every confidence in Brindha’s abilities to step into the CFO role with her strong business acumen, developed in key finance roles both in Australia and internationally. I have worked closely with Brindha and Craig over the years and have seen first-hand their excellent contributions to the DHL Supply Chain business,” says Kwok-wai Lee, CFO, of Asia Pacific, DHL Supply Chain.
Roberts said he was satisfied to pass the light to Pillay, applauding her “outstanding abilities” and devotion.
Brindha has championed several strategic initiatives during her tenure at DHL, such as the creation and implementation of the initial milestones of the global strategy for the Accounting Function.
“I couldn’t think of a better person to succeed me and have full confidence in her ability to continue driving strategic value for the business,” said Roberts.
