SA launches new directories for Hydrogen Supply Chain 

South Australia has sent off a hydrogen professional directory of many firms both keen on and with the capacity to offer types of assistance as the future of the hydrogen supply chain is to advance the state’s business. 

The nineteenth Strategy Meeting and Exchange Exhibition begin in Port Augusta, with an emphasis on how future enterprises like green hydrogen creation are set to reinforce the state’s economy. 

“Building on our industrial capability, we have the potential to manufacture and export premium products like green iron and green processed critical minerals, underpinned by world-class carbon accounting and greater circularity of resources,” said South Australia Deputy Premier and Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science, Dr Susan Close. 

The South Australian Government is delivering two distributions that guide and advance the ability of nearby organisations to support the state’s multibillion-dollar green hydrogen industry. 

Minister for Energy and Mining, Tom Koutsantonis, said, “Decarbonisation presents our state with an opportunity to reindustrialise – but to do that we need private investment. This initiative provides a pathway for companies to engage with South Australia’s hydrogen and green steel opportunities.” 

Funded by the South Australian Government and conveyed through the Business Capacity Organisation of South Australia (ICN SA), South Australia’s Hydrogen Industry Supplier Directory records many firms that have both an interest in and the ability to offer types of assistance as a feature of the perplexing hydrogen supply chain coming online. 

From 2025 onwards, the South Australian Government’s speculation of the greater part of a billion dollars into green hydrogen is supposed to make a huge number of occupations across environmentally friendly power projects, the improvement of a hydrogen trade industry, and a creation and storage facility close to Whyalla. 

More than 70% of South Australia’s energy as of now comes from sustainable sources. Green hydrogen will assist the state with accomplishing its objectives of 100% net renewables by 2030 and net-zero fossil fuel byproducts by 2050.
